McKenzie River Guides,
I know there are many more guides/associations that will need notification, please forward as necessary. Local news paper postings will also take place later in the Fall season.

I am contacting you to notify the rafting guides that the Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) will be doing maintenance on
The Leaburg Dam Road at Leaburg Lake. This work will close the Leaburg Dam Road during daytime hours.

The road closure is projected to be:
Proposed closure times: 11/25/2013 – 1/03/2014 Daytime Weekdays
Allow contractor to close bridge 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm weekdays
(working with Walterville Post Office, McKenzie School District, Fex-X, UPS, etc.) for actually times of day closures.
· Perform construction during winter to avoid impacting recreationalists.
o Property owners prefer winter due to summer fire danger & their forest.

If you have questions, please call or email me. I will continue to update stakeholders as new or additional information comes available. EWEB will hold a community meeting as the closure time nears.

Thanks for your help,
