Lane County campgrounds will reopen for modified camping on Thursday, May 21.

* Archie Knowles Campground (Mapleton)
* Armitage Campground (Eugene)
* Baker Bay Campground (Dorena)
* Harbor Vista Campground (Florence)
* Richardson Campground (Junction City)

We have created a plan that balances the safety of campers while providing a place for people and families to enjoy the outdoors. Some of the precautions that will help protect campers are keeping common areas (playgrounds, group campsites, shelters, etc.) closed; keeping showers closed; keeping some campsites empty to increase distance; using approved cleaners and disinfectants in restrooms; and more.

Additionally, each campground will have site-specific modifications to help keep everyone safe. We hope that anyone who chooses to camp in one of our campgrounds is understanding of the necessary modifications and complies with our plan so that we can welcome people back safely.
